Meet Allyson Esquibel
CFNP, MSN
Allyson Esquibel is a highly experienced healthcare provider with more than two decades of hands on medical experience. Born and raised in Albuquerque, she has dedicated her career to caring for individuals and families throughout New Mexico, including extensive work in rural and underserved communities. Her deep community roots continue to shape her thoughtful, patient focused approach to primary care.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 1999, Allyson began her career in the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), before moving into pediatric urgent care and family primary care while completing her Master’s degree in Nursing. She became a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2007 and has since provided care to newborns, children, and adults of all ages, including work in high risk obstetrics and comprehensive family primary care.
Allyson has significant experience managing chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, as well as supporting long term health through preventive care and ongoing disease management. In 2014, she earned a post graduate certificate as a Certified Nurse Midwife and has worked in OB-GYN clinics across Albuquerque. She continues to attend births at Presbyterian Hospital downtown while maintaining her role in primary care.
